wickets for 13 runs in 3 overs while Sufyan Sharif took 2 wickets for 25 runs
in 4 overs.
Oman's decision to bat first after winning the toss proved to
be wrong, the team failed miserably to score well. Scotland chased the target
well and won the match easily by scoring 123 runs for 2 wickets in 17 overs
while batting responsibly. Scotland's Kyle Coetzer scored 41 off 28 balls,
Richie Barrington scored 31 off 21 balls. While Matthew Cross won
the match by playing a responsible inning of 26 runs off 35 balls and did not
get out. For Oman, Fayyaz Butt bowled 1 wicket for 26 runs in 3 overs, Khawar
Ali bowled 1 wicket for 27 runs in 4 overs while Aqib Ilyas bowled 14 runs in 2
overs and did not take any wicket.
In today's match, Scotland played better and defeated
Omani by 8 wickets with 18 balls left in the innings.
