Thanks to the responsible innings of New Zealand opening batsman Daryl Mitchell, New Zealand achieved the English team given a target of 167 runs in 19 over’s for the loss of 5 wickets. Spain's Liam Livingstone bowled brilliantly for England conceding just 22 runs in 4 over’s and dismissing 2 wickets, Fast bowler Chris woakes gave up 36 runs in 4 over’s and dismissed 2 wickets while Adil Rashid gave 39 runs in 4 over’s and dismissed one player. Thus New Zealand defeated England by 5 wickets in the first semi-final of the T20 World Cup with 6 balls left in the innings. New Zealand reaches the T20 World Cup final, whichever team wins the second semi-final tomorrow will face New Zealand in the final.
